1. It’s important to practice swimming pool safety so that no unfortunate accidents occur. It’s especially important to have a sharp eye while watching over children as they swim underwater. In fact, many accidents occur when parents are nearby, so practicing swimming pool safety is a must!
2. The best way to practice swimming pool safety is to keep a close eye on your children. If your child is under 5, make sure he/she is in arm’s reach at all times. Older children need to be in your sight when they swim so that you can jump into the water if anything happens.
3. Practice swimming pool safety by making sure children who can’t swim that well has life preservers. Air filled or foam toys are fine, but don’t use such items as substitutes. If your children aren’t good swimmers, you need life preservers in the water as well.
4. When everyone is finished swimming, make sure you get all pool toys out of the water to practice swimming pool safety. You don’t want your children to later try to reach for them and then fall into the pool. So, keep that pool nice and clean until the next swimming session.
5.Make sure you fence your pool and put locks on any doors when your children aren’t swimming, in order to practice swimming pool safety. Teach your children not to run around the pool or horseplay as well, for these things can lead to accidents.
