For that geek who trips over their own feet… and other peoples feet.
Do little gadgets seem to jump out of your hands as if to commit suicide? Ash came over today with her latest phone (her fourth or fifth one due to butter fingers), and a pile of boxes filled with bubble wrap prompted my latest idea (that has probably been done already, and if it has, please don’t pop MY bubble).
Bubble wrap phone covers!
First: take the phone and place it under the bubble wrap (smooth side up), trace the area around the screen and buttons. You’d want to cut the bubble wrap slightly smaller than the actual holes because the material will stretch a little once you wrap it around the device. Carefully cut out the holes and then cut four strips around to make it look like a +. Cut the top strip where it’s narrow on top so that it widens at the base so you can conveniently tuck it in after you wrap the cover around the phone. Tape the sides together with adhesive and voila- A cell phone cover made of bubble wrap.
For extra protection I made a case for the case out the bubble wrap using the same idea but with no holes and a little pocket for business cards.
The bubble wrap covers also come in pink, green and blue! Granted I’ve only done this once and already I see improvements that could be made- but YEE! Geeky solutions that allow you to be as clutzy as you wanna be.
