Protect Your Pool Over the Cold Winter Season
A few months ago when it was too cold to swim in my above ground swimming pool, I took my son to the pool at the gym. They have a variety of pool accessories there for kids to use and play with. That day, someone had left behind a torpedo glider. I was hooked! This toy is the best. It’s shaped like a torpedo, and weighted at the nose more heavily than at the tail. This thing was fantastic for gliding through the water. If you give it a good push at the surface of the pool, it will glide along for 20 feet or so, and only slowly sink through the surface of the pool to the bottom. Naturally, I’ve gone out and gotten one for my above ground swimming pool for when the weather gets better. It’s definitely my favorite pool accessory!
