Protect Your Pool Over the Cold Winter Season
If you are preparing to have a pool installed in your backyard then you may be surprised to find out all of the pool supplies that you are going to need to keep your pool operating properly. Also, you will need a set of pool supplies to keep everyone entertained while they are in the water or lounging around the pools perimeter.
Of course the first thing on your list is a pool skimmer with a long pole attached to it. Even with a proper functioning pool filter and an automatic pool cleaner, you will need the skimmer to take off things such as large leaves that blow into the pool and are floating on the waters surface.
Pool towels are also something that you will want to give some thought to. If you don’t have pool towels readily available then people will go into the home and bring out your nice bathroom towels and use them.
Pool toys and games are an absolute must have item to put on your list. There are so many great pool games that are now available and kids just love to play them when they are in the water. One fun pool game is water basketball, that involves the kids trying to score points by throwing a ball through a net that is floating on pontoons.
Also kids love to play games that involve retrieving colored plastic rings that are thrown into the water. For the older kids you will want ring games that sink but for the youngsters you will want to make sure that the rings in the game float on the waters surface.
Also make sure to remember to pick up some type of large container to keep all of the pool toys in when they are not in use or they will quickly deteriorate or get chewed up by the family dog.
